Our Story
AAL Property Solutions was founded in 2021 by Adam Al-khateb who grew up in South Edinburgh. Graduating from Edinburgh Napier University with a BEng in Energy and Environmental Engineering and a MSc in Real Estate with Sustainability, Adam is very passionate about sustainability and has been involved in this area for over a decade.
Sustainability
We use electric vehicles to reduce our carbon emissions and environmental footprint. We utilise renewable energy such as solar panels and heat pump technology. This allows us to generate our own heat and electricity without using fossil fuels, for the small portion of electricity we import it is 100% renewable energy. We go even further by planting trees to offset even more carbon.
Tree Planting
We are planting a planting a forest in the Scottish Highlands. This allows us to give back to the environment, mitigate our carbon footprint and make a tangible difference. We work with a charity to plant a mixture of healthy mixture of trees such as Scots pine, oak, hazel, birch, alder, rowan, birch and aspen.

Aico is the European market leader in Fire Alarm products. They run a bi-annual Community Awards which celebrates excellence within the social housing industry and local community. AAL Property Solutions was nominated as a finalised for - Inspirational Colleague of the Year. This award recognises an organisation who goes above and beyond the call of duty to make their communities a better place.
Freelancer of the Year 2021 Winner
The Bright Red Sparks is an annual celebration of innovation and enterprise within the Edinburgh Napier University Community. AAL Property Solutions founder Adam Al-khateb was nominated Bright Red Sparks Freelancer of the year award winner of 2021. The award celebrates graduate entrepreneurs.

Sustainability
We adopt a sustainable approach to all our decisions, one that considers the social, economic, and environmental impact of our decisions. We aim to contribute 10% of our profits towards sustainability initiatives and projects, such as planting trees and we also participate in environmental conservation projects in our local community. Our mission is service to our community and goes far beyond our core services. We believe that making a positive contribution to society is one of the most important aspects of life and business. Communication is perhaps our most important goal. We aim to offer maintain positive communication to ensure we can build trusting relationships with our clients, suppliers, and partners. We provide regular service updates and always confirm appointments and follow up with clients.
