Here is news from our Spring Update 2023 – on what we have been doing the last few months:
Energy Loan and Grant Applications 🔠
We have been supporting homeowners with their applications so that they can access funding for energy efficiency improvements and renewable energy technology such as solar panels. One of the conditions is the production of a Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), which we have been happy to help with.
Health and Safety Compliance ⚡️
We have been supporting landlords and agents with compliance certificates ensuring high standards of health and safety within the private rented sector. We have been helping with Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), Legionella Risk Assessments & Fire Alarm Installation.
Environmental Conservation & Supporting Young People 🌲
We have taken on a new voluntary role, where we work with charities to support young people across Edinburgh and teach environmental conservation. Our projects include practical conservation tasks, outdoor fun, environmental education and personal development. Typical activities include biodiversity development strategies, tree planting, identifying and protecting plant and wildlife species 🌲
